- As per Government Resolution No. D.C.T.2316/Pr.Kr.133/No.1417, dated 05.12.2016, issued by the Rural Development Department, Ministry of Mumbai.
Under the Zilla Parishad Cess for the year 2024-2025, proposals for the scheme for school-going girl students who need to travel at least 1 km from their residence to school are being initiated. Under this scheme, 90% subsidy is proposed for bicycles for rural girl students studying from 5th to 12th grade.
Documents Required to Submit with the Application:
- A bonafide certificate from the school where the student is currently enrolled for the academic year 2023-2024.
- If the family is listed below the poverty line, a certificate from the Gram Sevak regarding the same.
- A photocopy of the applicant’s Aadhaar card.
- A photocopy of the applicant’s bank passbook.
- A residence certificate issued by the Gram Sevak or a self-declaration.
- A certificate from the Gram Sevak stating the family uses the household toilet regularly.
- Income certificate indicating the total family income does not exceed ₹1,20,000 annually for 2023-2024.
- If the applicant is disabled, a certificate from a competent authority must be submitted.
- Applications for this scheme should be submitted to the respective project area where the beneficiary resides.
