Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Enterprise Guarantee Scheme 2005

Prioritized works will be prioritized in the circulation planning process of individual beneficiaries.
Preference will be given to the following categories of families while providing the benefit of personal works:

1. Scheduled Castes
2. Scheduled Tribes
3. Nomadic tribes
4. Notified Tribes
5. Other families below poverty line
6. Female headed family
7. Physically Handicapped Head of Family
8. Beneficiaries of Land Reforms
9. Beneficiaries availed under IAY / PMAY

At least one member of the family must be willing to work on the work undertaken by the beneficiary on their land or house premises as defined in the Agricultural Loan Waiver and Loan Waiver Scheme, 2008 after all the above beneficiaries are exhausted.

Beneficiary:

SC, ST, NT, WBC, Other families below poverty line, Female headed family, Physically Handicapped Head of Family, Beneficiaries of Land Reforms, Beneficiaries availed under IAY / PMAY

Benefits:

- 260 works are permissible under MNREGA through various mechanisms of the government.
