 Vision and mission

The Agriculture Department is one of the 15 divisions of Dharashiv Zilla Parishad. The department implements various development schemes related to agriculture through various state sponsored, centrally sponsored and zilla parishad self-funded funds.

 Objective functions 

1. Implementation of Government Schemes : Effective implementation of agriculture related development schemes through state sponsored, centrally sponsored and zilla parishad self-funded and thereby giving benefits of various components to the farmers on DBT basis.
2. Supply and Quality Control of Agricultural Inputs- The department monitors the supply and quality of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides to ensure that farmers have access to good quality inputs for farming and to prevent fraud.
3. Agricultural Expansion – To inform the farmers of the district about new agricultural technologies and to promote and promote the technology.
